1st International Contest: I Made a Bag from Milk Carton!!

During the Family Day Festival held in Chicago, the 1st International Contest "I Made a Bag from Milk Carton" took place. It was the first international contest where Oriental Fusion Handcraft members from Mexico, Japan and U.S. participated to show their skills, creativity and imagination.

The rules were simple. You have to make a bag from a milk carton. Can be any kind of bag!!!

A the Family Day Festival, after a popular vote, three winners were chosen, and here they are...

2nd Place: Mrs. Melly Hernandez, Chicago, IL, USA

and 1st Place: Mrs. Trinidad Tamayo , Mexico City, Mexico

Members of Reiyukai America in Chicago organized their annual event, Family Day Festival in Chicago. There were presentation of the Oriental Fusion Handcrafts as well.
